In development

Less tapping.
More saying
what happened.

We are designing and testing an assistant that lets you talk through a job update instead of thumbing it in. It is not in the released app yet — this page describes the intended experience.

Download the app today. The assistant will follow when it is genuinely ready.

“Six hours on the Fenwick job, two lengths of 22mm copper.”

Design concept

How it is intended to work

01

Describe

Say or type what happened on site — the hours worked, the materials used, the bits that always get forgotten in the van.

02

Review

The assistant is intended to turn that into a clear proposed change to the job sheet, laid out line by line.

03

Confirm

Nothing is saved until you say so. A person stays in control of every update to the record.

Things you might say

The intention is that you talk the way you would to a mate in the van, and the assistant proposes the entries. These are design examples, not recordings of a working product.

Six hours on the Fenwick job, two lengths of 22mm copper.

Proposed for your review

Labour 6.0 hrs at your default rate, plus 2 × copper pipe 22mm on the materials list.

Add Dave, four hours, and the scaffold tower for the day.

Proposed for your review

A second operative with 4.0 hrs at his rate, and scaffold tower added to equipment for one day.

The extra socket in the kitchen was day work, half an hour.

Proposed for your review

0.5 hrs recorded as day work, kept separate from the priced work on the same job.

Rules we are designing to

  • A person confirms every change before it is saved
  • The assistant proposes; it never quietly edits a record
  • If something is unclear, it asks rather than guesses
  • Totals are calculated by the app, not invented in a conversation
  • Every proposal and confirmation is recorded so you can see what happened

What it will not do

  • It will not send anything to your customer on its own
  • It will not set your prices, rates or tax settings
  • It will not give tax, legal or compliance advice
  • It will not fill in gaps by guessing hours or quantities you did not give it

Is the Day Worksheet AI Assistant available now?

No. The assistant is in development and is not part of the released app. The app you can download today uses its existing job sheet workflow. This page describes the experience being designed and tested, and no release date is being promised.

Will the assistant change my job sheets on its own?

No. The design requires a person to confirm every change. The assistant proposes entries, you see them laid out line by line, and nothing is written to the job sheet until you approve it.

Will using the assistant cost extra?

Pricing for the assistant has not been set. Today's plans are Free at £0, Basic at £4.99 per month and Premium at £9.99 per month, and those are the only prices we are quoting until the assistant is genuinely ready.
