The terms governing use of the Day Worksheet app.

Business details: Urban Software Ltd, Urban House, Dunnington, York, North Yorkshire, YO19 5LP. Company number 12052980.

This accessible summary preserves the substance of the terms published on the previous Day Worksheet website. It should be reviewed against the complete legally approved terms before the new site replaces the current public site.

About these terms

DayWorkSheet.com is a trading name of Urban Software Ltd. The app is designed for tradespeople and small businesses. These terms explain our obligations as app provider and your obligations as a subscriber, and apply from the time access is provided.

1. Definitions

The Access Fee is the subscription fee displayed by Day Worksheet or the relevant app store. The App means the Day Worksheet mobile application. Data means information entered by or for the subscriber. An Invited User is somebody authorised by the subscriber to use the app.

2. Free plan

The Free plan allows a prospective subscriber to assess whether the app is suitable without a financial obligation to upgrade. The current limits are described on the Pricing page.

3. Use of the app

A subscriber may upgrade to a paid plan. The subscriber decides who may use the account and remains responsible for invited users and for lawful internal business use of the app.

4. Your obligations

Keep usernames and passwords secure, notify us of unauthorised use, and do not undermine security, impair the service, gain unauthorised access, upload damaging or unlawful material, or copy, decompile or reverse engineer the software except where the law expressly permits it.

5. Confidentiality and privacy

Each party must preserve confidential information received in connection with these terms, unless disclosure is authorised or required by law. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.

6. Intellectual property and data

Intellectual property rights in the app, website and supporting documentation remain with DayWorkSheet.com or its licensors. Ownership of data entered by the subscriber remains with the subscriber. The subscriber grants the permissions needed to store, transmit, back up and process that data to provide the service.

7. Availability and warranties

The app is supplied on an “as is” basis. Internet, device and third-party services can be interrupted. The subscriber is responsible for deciding whether the app meets their business and record-retention needs and should maintain appropriate copies of important data.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability for indirect or consequential loss is excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded, the existing terms limit relevant claims to the Access Fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

9. Subscription and termination

Paid access renews according to the terms shown by the store through which it was purchased. Accrued rights and charges survive termination. Store subscriptions must be managed through Apple or Google as applicable.

10. Account deletion

Account deletion is available through the app settings. It stops app access and removes the account under the deletion process. It does not cancel an active store subscription; that must be cancelled separately through Apple or Google.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of England. If one provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues. Notices must be in writing or by email. A person who is not a party to the agreement has no right to enforce it.
