daywork sheet app for builders
Variation work, extras and anything outside the original price that has to be evidenced to get paid.
Day Worksheet is a daywork sheet app for builders and groundworkers. Each variation gets its own record: labour for every operative on the gang at their own rate, plant and equipment on site, materials used, photos, and a signature from the site contact before you leave — which is what a main contractor asks for when the account is settled.

One record per instruction, not one per week.
Each with their trade, hours and their own rate.
Excavator, dumper, pump, concrete and anything hired in.
The site contact signs on the phone the same day the work is done.
| Situation | What usually goes on the sheet | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Instructed variation | Labour, plant, materials, signature | This is the evidence for payment |
| Unforeseen ground conditions | Hours lost, photos, extra plant | Shows why the programme moved |
| Standing time | Hours, reason, who was standing | Recovers cost you would otherwise absorb |
| Attendance for another trade | Hours and equipment supplied | Recharges work you were not priced for |
A gang producing daywork sheets most weeks generally needs Premium for the 100 sheets and multiple operatives.
